CRITICAL QUESTIONS
In the scientific method, observations must lead to questions sometimes called "critical questions" or "scientific questions."

What questions are suggested by the selected observation? Some possible questions include:

Why are the algae green?
Why is the shrimp green?
Is the shrimp eating the algae?

Any of these, and many other critical questions, are appropriate for the observation we are considering. In this tutorial, we have selected the question:

Is the shrimp color related to the algae color?
